Privacy Policy

XO Have I Ever ("XO", "we", "our") is a party game. We don't sell personal data. We collect limited data to keep the app working, improve it, and manage subscriptions.

At a glance

  • No account required (we don’t ask for your name, email, or phone number).
  • We use Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, App Check) to run and improve the app.
  • We use Google Gemini via Firebase AI to generate AI deck prompts when you request it.
  • We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status (payments are processed by Apple/Google).

Information we collect

  • Gameplay & app usage: basic usage events, device/app info, and diagnostics (for example, app version, OS version, and crash/performance data) via Firebase.
  • Content downloads: the app may download deck updates from a URL (for example, our website). When this happens, the hosting provider may receive standard server logs such as your IP address and user agent.
  • Purchases: subscription status and purchase metadata via RevenueCat and the app stores. We do not receive your full payment details (Apple/Google handle payments).
  • AI deck inputs: if you generate an AI deck, we send the options you choose and any text you enter (if applicable) to Google Gemini via Firebase AI to produce prompts.
  • On-device data: settings and gameplay state may be stored locally on your device.

How we use information

  • Provide the core gameplay experience and save your settings.
  • Generate AI decks when you request them.
  • Prevent abuse and protect the service (for example, App Check).
  • Measure and improve reliability and performance (for example, crash logs).
  • Manage subscriptions and paywall access.

Sharing

We share data with service providers only as needed to operate the app, including Google (Firebase + Gemini) and RevenueCat. We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business transfer.

Data retention

On-device data stays on your device unless you choose to use online features (such as AI deck generation). Analytics/diagnostics and subscription records are retained according to the relevant provider’s retention policies.

Your choices

  • You can delete on-device data by uninstalling the App.
  • You can manage subscription billing through your Apple/Google account.
  • If you don’t want your inputs sent to an AI provider, don’t use AI deck generation.

Age requirement

XO is intended for mature audiences. Please check the age rating in your app store.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
